POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to support injection molding operations by setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting molds and equipment to meet safety and quality standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient production, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.
3rd Shift: 11:00p - 7:30a
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set up and operate injection molding machines to meet quality and production goals
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble molds and components
  • Perform mold changes and ensure proper setup according to production schedules
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
  • Troubleshoot issues with molds, machines, and processes
  • Train and support team members on safe handling, setup, and maintenance procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow and promote safety standards including lockout/tagout and equipment operation
  • All other dutites as assigned

EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with plastic injection molding and mold maintenance strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of materials such as ABS, PVC, or CPVC a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to read diagrams and schematics
  • Ability to operate forklifts, power tools, and material handling equipment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred

TRAINING AND SKILLS:
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset
  • Focus on safety and customer satisfaction

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physically active tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders as needed
