Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-profile State Government modernization initiative focused on enhancing an enterprise GIS-based agricultural application hosted on AWS.
The Project Manager will oversee the complete software development lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams including Architects, Developers, GIS Engineers, QA, Security, and DevOps professionals. This role requires strong Agile project management skills, stakeholder communication, risk management, sprint planning, and executive reporting.
The ideal candidate has managed enterprise cloud modernization projects involving GIS applications, cloud infrastructure, software development, and government clients.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Agile software development projects from initiation through production deployment
  • Coordinate multiple technical teams
  • Manage project schedule, scope, budget and deliverables
  • Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
  • Prepare executive status reports
  • Manage project risks and mitigation plans
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing
  • Track deliverables across development phases
  • Work closely with State stakeholders
  • Coordinate production releases
