Job description

In preparation for our new services under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP), we are currently searching for a full time Warehouse Specialist for a busy warehouse in , that manages supplies and maintenance of medical equipment used across the country.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory control of clinical supplies and equipment.
  • Work closely with our internal team, and vendors.
  • Demonstrate consistent knowledge of DOCS industry.
  • Understand operation of mobile practice (MP) vehicle(s).
  • Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager, Event Managers, and Asset Managers regarding equipment, inventory, and administrative requirements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and ability to troubleshoot mobile operations and fixed site facilities.
  • Complete checklists for mobile practice vehicles and equipment being prepared to ship/deliver before and after each scheduled function.
  • Ensure all medical, dental , and office equipment are in working order, and report deficiencies.
  • Ensure x-ray machines are fully functional and maintained according to state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely shipment of supplies and equipment to the event site.
  • Participate in weekly logistics calls and After Action meetings with all DOCS team members upon completion of each event.
  • Return all equipment and supplies to the assigned locations upon completion of the event.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, self-motivation, organization, and resourcefulness while maintaining a reputation through proven action of being team oriented and willing to assist where/when needed.
  • Wear safety equipment, follow current good manufacturing practices, perform proper forklift inspections, follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures, and communicate safety issues and concerns.

Requirements
  • Valid/current driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working in and or managing a warehouse
  • Independent worker who has ability to multi-task and to think outside the box.
  • Willingness to travel to events up to 25% of the time
  • Flexible regarding schedule changes, environmental changes, and sudden work schedule changes
  • Able to solve problems by applying basic knowledge and technology
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Strong ability and communication skills to perform in a fast paced, dynamic working environment
  • Strong work ethic and sense of teamwork
  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow the person to maintain respectful, compassionate, positive, and friendly attitudes towards coworkers and customers
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; accurately read product codes and labels and correctly pick & load the correct quantity of products for shipment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Current Forklift Certification preferred
