Diamond Medical Laboratories, a leader in high-quality patient care, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 4am Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team in Montgomery County, Maryland. As a Mobile Phlebotomist with our company, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent patient care and specimen collection services to our patients.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomist to join our early morning specimen collection team. As a contract/part-time employee, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients at various locations while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Our ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient test requisitions against nursing station logs and address discrepancies with facility personnel

  • Perform venipunctures with precision and care while ensuring patient comfort and safety

  • Safely transport self and specimens, accurately tracking mileage per management guidelines

  • Follow aseptic techniques, department protocols, and isolation procedures to maintain sample quality

  • Record collection details, including initials, date, and time of collection, to ensure accurate tracking

  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following all legal and industry regulations

  • Utilize laboratory information systems to enter sample acquisition details

  • Uphold professional standards, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care

  • Take initiative in maintaining the highest standards in phlebotomy services
