Position: Mobile Phlebotomist

Location: Shepeard Community Blood Center
Serving the Dublin, Georgia area, including Laurens and Twiggs Counties

What You'll Do

  • Prepare for Success - Set up donor blood bags, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth and efficient blood drives.
  • Collect Life-Saving Donations - Perform donor screenings, mini-physical assessments, and venipuncture procedures with confidence and care.
  • Support Donors - Provide excellent care before, during, and after donation, including refreshments and assistance when needed.
  • Create a Positive Experience - Build strong relationships with donors, community partners, recruiters, and fellow team members.

What We're Looking For

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience

  • Completion of an approved phlebotomy course and clinical experience required
  • Previous medical field experience is preferred

Skills

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer and clerical proficiency
  • Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds

Preferred Certifications

  • Phlebotomy Certification
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
