Responsibilities
The Brook Hospital Dupont located at 1405 Browns Lane is currently seeking a Day/Evening Shift Mobile Assessor - PRN to join our team.
Since 1985 The Brook Hospital has been offering hope to individuals, families, and communities. The Brook is the leader in providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services. The Brook - Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults.
The Mobile Assessor is responsible for making certain all assessments are conducted professionally and all necessary patient information is obtained. Upon completion of the assessment, the person discusses the assessment results and recommendations with the treating physician. Mobile Assessor should have a working knowledge of DSM-V criteria for subsequent diagnosis and referral. Best candidates for this position will have behavioral health experience, a strong work-ethic, and highly consistent timeliness and attendance!
Job Duties
  • Gathers all information pertaining to patient's physical, psychological, and social status
  • Facilitates admission to any Brook Hospital treatment program, should it be selected as the most appropriate disposition
  • Provides appropriate referrals and recommendations if hospitalization is not the disposition
  • Documents the clinical disposition and recommendation in the patient's chart at the hospital
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors or CEO

Qualifications
  • Required: Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences
  • Preferred: licensed or under supervision in state of Kentucky (CSW/LCSW, MFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, LPA, LPP)
  • Preferred: One year inpatient behavioral health work experience.
