Reporting to the President of the College, the VPAS is a member of the presidentโ€™s Executive Team, the Administrative Team, and the primary advisor to the President and executive staff on key issues and opportunities related to financial and facilities operations.**Salary Range:**$114,094-181,855**Minimum Qualifications*** Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, finance, organizational administration, or a related field.* Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative or managerial leadership in a complex organization, preferably within higher education.* Demonstrated senior-level experience managing a financially complex organization, including financial planning, projecting financial position, auxiliary enterprises, and multiple funding sources, with responsibility for financial integrity, informing strategic decision making, and financial sustainability.* Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, transparency, and shared governance in leadership and decision making.* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and nurture a positive and supportive team culture.**Preferred Qualification*** Masterโ€™s degree or higher in a relevant field and applicable professional certifications.* Demonstrated commitment to decision making to support the mission of the comprehensive community college by centering students and student success.* Demonstrated capacity to analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate complex financial and statistical information to diverse internal and external stakeholders to support transparency, shared governance, and sound fiscal decisions.* Experience working effectively and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in planning, budgeting, and implementation of strategic initiatives.* Demonstrated knowledge of state legislation, statute, and executive policy, including those specific to the Minnesota State system* Experience with facilities master planning, capital budget requests, building construction projects and contract administration.* Experience supervising safety, security and emergency management functions.* Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.* Exceptional project management and organizational skills.* Human relations skills to deal effectively with diverse internal and external clientele* The ability to work with employees and students, delegating and holding others responsible in a manner that instills confidence, growth mindset and shared responsibility.* Great sensitivity to all facets of the college community including the needs of the various groups which comprise it.* The ability to make the college an integral part of the total community through a variety of relevant community service programs and constant attention to relationships with community groups.* A personal orientation to the process and skill in the management of participatory decision-making, shared governance, and the culture of caring.**Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)**8:00-4:30, Monday-Friday**Telework (Yes/No)**No**About**Central Lakes College is a comprehensive community and technical college serving about 5,500 students per year.
