Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for education and administrative excellence? Join Dakota State University as a Graduate Registration Specialist II and play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of our students while contributing to the success of our graduate programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Track academic and program status of graduate students and make appropriate updates in Student Information System.
  • Serve as a resource to Graduate Office staff and faculty.
  • Assist students with registration for graduate courses and programs.
  • Collaborate with Registrar's Office staff to develop and provide training to faculty, department chairs, and college support staff.
  • Complete preliminary and final degree audits for graduate students.
  • Load course sections, faculty load information, etc. for graduate offerings.
  • Serve as back-up to similar processes for undergraduate offerings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
