Join Dakota State University as a Graduate Registration Specialist II and play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of our students while contributing to the success of our graduate programs.
Key Responsibilities: - Track academic and program status of graduate students and make appropriate updates in Student Information System.
- Serve as a resource to Graduate Office staff and faculty.
- Assist students with registration for graduate courses and programs.
- Collaborate with Registrar's Office staff to develop and provide training to faculty, department chairs, and college support staff.
- Complete preliminary and final degree audits for graduate students.
- Load course sections, faculty load information, etc. for graduate offerings.
- Serve as back-up to similar processes for undergraduate offerings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
