Our Manual Machine Opertors (MMO)...
  • Set up and operate various equipment used in performing machining operations such as drilling, tapping, milling, broaching, tap removal and grinding on a variety of materials.
  • Receives instruction and work assignments from Process Supervisor or Self-Directed Work Team.
  • Handles material to and from work area, using jib or overhead cranes or other material handling equipment, as required.
  • Refers to work instructions, sketches, manuals, books, charts, military specifications and process sheets.
  • Performs checks and/or adjustments to processes as required to maintain tolerances.
  • Performs deburring operations with an assortment of tools.
  • Performs checks on equipment to maintain efficient and safe operations and reports any deficiencies.
  • Keeps work area safe and clean.

Required Skills and Education
Candidates must be graduates or currently enrolled students at Advanced Training in Defense Manufacturing.
Candidate must possess...
