Responsibilities
  • Safely rig and lift heavy equipment using a variety of techniques and tools
  • Assemble, install, and align machinery, ensuring that all components are secured and in proper working order
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, inspecting for any signs of wear or damage and making necessary repairs
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute project timelines
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the best approach for rigging and millwright tasks
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment as needed
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in rigging and millwright work
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
