Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Construction Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems in a construction or manufacturing environment. If you are mechanically inclined, have strong problem-solving skills, and take pride in your work, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment used in construction or manufacturing settings
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks, such as using raw steel to create custom products (e.g., conveyors or boxes)
  • Accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Measure and cut materials with precision, ensuring adherence to layout specifications
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe work environment
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
  • Travel in and out of Oregon as required for various project locations

Requirements
  • Must be local to Central Oregon.
  • Valid Oregon Driver’s License (ODL) required
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen (excluding marijuana)
  • Reliable and dependable with the ability to work all scheduled hours
  • Ability to travel in and out of Oregon as necessary for job assignments

Desirable Attributes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with welding and fabrication (e.g., creating products from raw steel).
  • Ability to read and interpret a tape measure accurately
  • Layout skills for determining bolt placement and hole sizing
  • Experience reading blueprints
