Job description

Salary:

Maman Corp. is seeking a full time, mid-level Millwork and Cabinetry Project Manager to join their team and work directly with the Senior Project Managers and Estimators. Exclusive Woodworking offers competitive benefits and compensation and will provide on-the-job training for this position. This is anexcellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in the fields of project management and estimating within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all bid documents and architectural drawing sets using Bluebeam to compile the drawings, page labels, bookmarks, and hyperlinks
  • Organize the bid documents for in-scope items and not-in-contract items
  • Perform take-off(s) of wood trims, doors, cabinetry, and millwork
  • Identify and tag all deliverables within Bluebeam
  • Prepare an extraction file from Bluebeam to the Company's EXCEL Pricing Tool
  • Become proficient with Companys pricing tools
  • Generate RFIs (request for information), for review and submission by Senior Estimator
  • Generate RFQs (request for quote) for subcontracted items
  • Obtain Construction schedule from the Client
  • Update field check, into a PDF Bluebeam file
  • Submit the Shop drawings to the GC/Designer
  • Create PDF of approved shop drawings and distribute to Head Cabinetmaker and Production Manager, to start the pre-production review
  • Obtain Finish Control Samples colors from designer
  • Create Work Order(s) for samples to be made
  • Label and submit samples after completion
  • Follow up with GC/Designer on jobsite readiness and schedule field checks and site visits for Project Managers accordingly
  • Coordinate with GC/Designer on items needed (i.e. hinges, door handles, various other hardware and decorative cabinetry hardware)
  • Coordinate installation schedule for millwork and cabinetry with GC/Designer


CHANGE ORDER RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform take-off, on changed items
Prepare Change Orders for Supervisor to review
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (EXCEL, Teams, Outlook and Word)
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
Familiarity with commercial construction-related software such as Bluebeam Revu
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Knowledge of project scheduling and coordination processes
Associates degree in Construction Management, Architectural Technology or a related field
