To excel as a Millwork Representative, you need in-depth knowledge of millwork products, sales experience, and often a background in construction or manufacturing. Familiarity with inventory management systems, quoting software, and CAD tools is typically required for product specification and order processing. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills help you effectively liaise between clients, vendors, and internal teams. What are Millwork Representatives?

Millwork Representatives are professionals who specialize in selling and supporting products made from wood, such as doors, windows, moldings, and cabinetry, often used in construction and remodeling projects. They work directly with builders, contractors, architects, and homeowners to recommend appropriate millwork solutions, provide product information, and coordinate orders and deliveries. Their role also involves staying up-to-date with industry trends, product lines, and building codes to ensure clients receive the best products for their needs. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
