Location: McKenzie Craft - Miami, FL

We're seeking a Millwork Installation Manager to take full ownership of our work in the field. This leader will set the standard for how our projects are executed on-site, driving efficiency, enforcing safety, and ensuring installations are delivered on time, on spec, and on brand.
What You'll Do
As Installation Manager, you'll oversee the installation department and serve as the central connection between production, project management, and the jobsite.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the Installation Process: Take full responsibility for installations on-site-leading crews, managing subcontractors, resolving issues, and ensuring every detail meets McKenzie's standards.
  • Plan & Schedule Work: Develop and oversee installation schedules, coordinate site access, and ensure manpower and logistics are aligned for efficiency.
  • Enforce Safety & SOPs: Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for installations; enforce safety protocols and compliance across all jobsites.
  • Improve Jobsite Efficiency: Monitor workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to keep projects running smoothly and productively.
  • Communicate & Report: Provide accurate updates to project managers, document site progress/issues, and maintain administrative reporting through Innergy and CG paperwork.
  • Lead the Team: Serve as the on-site leader, representing McKenzie with confidence while communicating clearly with clients, GCs, subs, and internal teams.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience supervising custom millwork installations (residential and/or commercial)
  • Deep knowledge of both architectural millwork and construction practices
  • Strong leadership in coordinating crews and managing subcontractors
  • Assertive, confident, and solutions-oriented with proven problem-solving ability
  • Highly resourceful, adaptable, and skilled in prioritization/time management
  • Exceptional communicator; bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, scheduling tools, and field reporting systems

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • PPE required: steel-toe boots, protective eyewear, hearing protection, and hard hat
  • Must adhere to McKenzie's safety standards and protocols
