As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. s the Contract Logistics Warehouse Consolidator Associate at Kuehne+Nagel, you will be responsible for optimizing storage space, organizing inventory, and managing waste-in/waste-out operations within a distribution center. This role involves consolidating similar products and recycling items to improve space efficiency while maintaining accurate inventory records.The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday.The compensation rate is $18.18 per hour.

How you create impact

Essential Duties and Functions

  • Optimize space utilization by strategically rearranging, organizing, and consolidating products or materials
  • Manage cardboard boxes and various materials, especially within waste-in/waste-out processes, to ensure they are properly prepared for disposal or recycling
  • Ensure exceptional inventory accuracy by meticulously verifying, organizing, and scanning materials
  • Support the selection and staging of outbound shipments to ensure they meet established quality and productivity benchmarks
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines (OSHA, MSDS), maintain a clean, orderly work area, and ensure the security of the warehouse
  • Utilize material handling equipment Material Handling Equipmentto move, load, and unload materials
  • Ensure that inventory at storage locations and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage
  • Capable of walking and standing for up to 8 hours daily during processing shifts
  • Aggregate orders based on customer, carrier, and shipping date
  • Confirm the accuracy of part numbers, quantities, and accompanying documentation
  • Ensure all items are correctly packaged, clearly labeled, and securely palletized
  • Report any discrepancies or shortages promptly to supervisors and team members to ensure timely resolution

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated fundamental proficiency in mathematics equivalent to a high school level
  • Applicants must hold US citizenship
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is highly valued
  • Proficiency with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred but not mandatory
  • Capability to undertake physical activities, such as lifting and maintaining a standing position for extended durations
  • Capability to operate effectively in a warehouse environment without temperature regulation
  • Willingness to work during weekends and overtime hours
