Federally designated as a senior military college, one of the university's signature leadership programs is its 800-member Corps of Cadets on UNG's Dahlonega Campus.
Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Recreational Sports Supervisor - Institutional Student Worker on the Dahlonega campus. The Supervisor reports directly to the Intramural Coordinator. The Intramural Sports Supervisor should be familiar with team and individual sports, have the ability to lead others, and be knowledgeable of the sport rules,and procedures they will be overseeing.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise sports as assigned by the Intramural Sports Coordinator in order to help the games stay on schedule, ensure safe environments, sportsmanship, and conduct. The supervisor is responsible for assuring all site preparations and game equipment are administered in a timely fashion.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Have a general knowledge and experience with the aspects of recreational sports.
  • Knowledge of sport rules, implementation, and officiating.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
  • The student must obtain a CPR/First Aid certification within one month of employment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Lifeguard experience certification is a plus but not required.
