Job Description:

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role within the Business Systems Development Team which focuses on optimizing technology and maximizing our return-on-investment, while continuing to build on the foundation that will drive business transformation. 

Primary responsibilities will include working with Business stakeholders to capture and document business requirements, methodically understand process and systems landscape; including external supplier integration points and configure business rules and workflow as necessary.

The Business Analyst will document, and execute test cases and define implementation strategies from a business perspective together with driving value throughout the entire development lifecycle from project inception, requirements, design, construct, testing, and deployment. 

The ideal candidate must be passionate about delivering results, can learn quickly, is self-motivated, and detail oriented. 

The Business Analyst will need a blend of business skills and experience in leading cross-functional initiatives that enable them to facilitate sessions with multiple stakeholders to drive measurable results. 

This role will require outstanding organizational, time management, and communication skills, and must work well in a matrix organization. 

Job Responsibilities:

Gather and document requirements in multiple process areas and disciplines in the Consumer Auto Finance arena including business process, controls, analytics and reporting 

Work collaboratively with Business and IT stakeholders to prioritize application defects and enhancements 

Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline existing processes and controls, leveraging applicable software 

Manage and maintain business rules & system configurations 

Maintain detailed documentation on system configurations; including business rules, controls, and process workflows 

Ensure controls in place to manage business rules, including version controls & change controls 

Work with various internal and external IT partners to define best solutions for future-state Operations, ensuring solution is flexible and accommodating to future innovation and growth strategies 

Ensure communication and collaboration with stakeholders for system outages/deployments 

Develop and execute thorough project, change management, and test plans and aid in the closure of gaps and defects 

Aid in change management and acceptance, including communication and training 

Facilitate or aid in user access reviews and annual Enterprise Access Certification validation 

Translate business requirements into process designs and/or application configuration. Develop and execute appropriate testing and document results. 

Provide support for IT releases: lead post implementation verification and report out in Go/No Go meetings 

Participate in joint application design sessions. Review designs with stakeholders as needed. 

Collaborate with Learning & Development team on training curriculums, training materials, and job aids 

Provide support for monthly account rebalance events 

Assist and collaborate with Operations partners in developing requirements for technical solutions that enable to meet business objectives. Maintain change controls documentation to align with governance and prioritization routines. 

Manage various IT environments as needed: DEV, SIT, UAT, Prod Support, and Production. Publish regular schedule of environment updates/file copies/configuration migration. 

Assist Project Manager and manager work efforts with preferred project management methodology and rigor; APEX, Agile/Waterfall, SRUM, and the application of project management concepts/methodologies 

Assist with Organization Readiness/Change Management for projects assigned: Communications, Training, org preparedness exercises, etc. 

Assist and contribute to team training and talent development needs 

Manage various IT environments as needed: DEV, SIT, UAT, Prod Support, Production. Publish regular schedule of environment updates/file copies/configuration migration. 

Serve as SME for respective areas of expertise

Qualification Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree preferred. 4-6 years in customer service or financial services industry is preferred. 1-2 years of system configuration experience preferred. 

Highly organized with a controls mindset 

Strong time management, analytical & problem solving skills 

Proficient project management skills 

Experience in one or more of the following areas for the Consumer Auto Finance program is preferred: 

o Customer Service (CRM, Salesforce, Lead Management, Campaign Management) 

o Account Maintenance and Payments 

o End of Term / Remarketing 

o Collections and Loss Mitigation 

o Data and Reporting 

o Business and Change Delivery 

o Core Receivables System 

o Integration Delivery 

o System Conversion 

o Platform Development 

o Solution Integration 

Accomplished at facilitating sessions with cross-functional groups to gather appropriate inputs required to define several key items including, but, not limited to processes flows, controls, requirements, technical specifications, test cases, and training materials 

Ability to identify & apply business needs to technical applications 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Establish clearly documented business & system requirements 

Ability to effectively work with employee and external partner resources, both on-shore and off-shore 

Skilled with Microsoft products, in particular MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint 

Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of web-based applications desired but not required 

Able to prioritize efforts based on program objectives and timeline 

Capable of working with stakeholders to define reporting and analytics needs 

Ability to travel as needed 

Ability to work outside of normal business hours to support system, including deployments and outages
