Note : Middleware Engineer with OpenShift experience (Expert: IIB/MQ, Competent: Openshift)

Primary Skills:

  • Experience in WMQ/IBM MQ with MQ clustering, Gateway connections, client connections to queue managers.
  • Experience in WMB 8, IIB 10 and ACE 12.
  • MQ/IIB Migration experience.
  • Experience in workload migration from Middleware WMB to OpenShift
  • Solid working experience in WMB and OpenShift
  • Hands on experience on IBM Cloud Pak for Integration deployment over RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
  • Good knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures

Good to have

  • Knowledge of CI/CD methodology and tooling (Jenkins, Harness)
  • Experience with system configuration tools including Ansible, Chef
  • Cluster maintenance and administration experience on OpenShift and Kubernetes
  • Development and maintenance in operational condition of OpenShift, Kubernetes orchestral container platforms
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis and produce reports for critical issues
