Job description

The Manager, Motili Sales oversees a team of National Account Managers by providing high-level leadership, goal setting, coaching, training, and direction in order for this team to deliver on expected sales, margin, and new business targets. Oversees the growth of the sales of our building and trade services and materials with all levels of customer base from proven experience and results with strategic sales account management for mid-size and large customers in the Building Materials or service trades within a matrix organization. This role is responsible for setting the vision and strategic plans necessary to achieve high growth and channel expansion expectations in these two segments, as well as working with the other senior leaders within Motili to align resources and execute on the strategic objectives.
Position Responsibilities May include:
• Manage, develop, lead, and inspire a team of National Account Managers to deliver on the sales plans to expand customer base and grow sales margins.
• Establish and communicate the vison and strategic business plans necessary to achieve sales, margin, and new business growth goals.
• Provide the team with monthly, quarterly, annual sales goals and objectives and measure team's effectiveness on achieving them. Develop corrective action plans or create adjustments as needed.
• Provide regular sales forecasting, planning, and make necessary adjustments to ensure effective market planning and revenue growth needed to deliver on the sales and margin growth goals.
• Provide business intelligence and market feedback routinely from industry, customers, and competitors. Provide information on current and future pursuits and pipeline across the business Segments to the senior leadership team to manage and adjust resources and business focus necessary to achieve Motili's growth goals and objectives.
• C-Level customer engagement of end-user building owner clients, selling enterprise, multi-year revenue relationships.
• Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
• Gain buy-in from the President and COO for each Segments' business plan and work with the senior leadership team to align resources and execute plans to achieve goals and objectives.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
Nature & Scope:
• Ensures work is aligned with the Director's expectations, goals, and vision
• Accountable for implementation of policies, processes, and procedures for short-term results
• Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from Senior Manager/Director
• Works on difficult to moderately complex issues and projects
• Provides guidance and training to subordinates
• Has authority to hire, recommend pay, establish performance and recommend for termination
• Level of signing authority established by company policy/guidelines
Knowledge & Skills:
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, services and equipment preferably in both commercial and residential markets
• Construction knowledge of buildings, homes, commercial property - strongly preferred
• Proven leadership, coaching, development and team-oriented mindset
• Proven record of accomplishment of sales, marketing, and profit and business development growth
• Demonstrated revenue and profit growth results
• Strong strategic planning, vision, organization and relationship management skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic sales plans of products and services in new or existing markets
• Strong ability to influence, interact and sell to a wide spectrum of clients
• Excellent analytical skills - ability to translate data into information and apply to business decisions
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills - professional and business acumen
Experience:
• 10+ years of sales and business experience preferably within construction, HVAC or similar industry including;
• 5+ years of progressive responsibility in strategic sales account management to mid-size and large customers in the Building Materials or service trades at the C-Suite, Mid-Level, and Field level for both short and long-term selling cycles, requiring multi-million dollar and multi-year complex contracts
• 6+ years of direct leadership experience
Education/Certification:
• Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Business, Engineering, Marketing, IS, Finance or Accounting
• HVAC certification - preferred
People Management: Yes
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of time to support clients, trade shows, and other events or meetings planned or on short notice.

Pay: $110,000.00 to $138,000.00
