Business Platform Analyst - Plymouth, MN

Your role:

  • Drive platform stability and operational excellence by troubleshooting system and process issues, resolving failures efficiently, and providing ongoing application support. Ensure business continuity through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and timely issue resolution across the application lifecycle.
  • Analyze business needs and deliver technology solutions by evaluating existing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing solutions that align with organizational objectives. Apply established standards and best practices to improve platform efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess solution feasibility, and support successful project delivery. Foster strong relationships through regular communication, collaboration, training, and change management activities that drive adoption and user success.
  • Lead quality assurance and solution validation efforts by developing test strategies, creating test cases, overseeing automation and regression testing, and ensuring thorough execution. Support application deployments and post-go-live activities to maintain system reliability and performance.
  • Promote continuous improvement and compliance by staying current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and platform capabilities. Maintain accurate documentation and exercise independent judgment within established processes to ensure quality, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired experience through internships, academic projects, or early-career roles in systems engineering or a related field. Prior professional experience is not required, but exposure to these areas is preferred. No prior experience required with Bachelor's Degree OR minimum 4 years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Solution Design and Architecture, DevOps Practices, IT Platforms Performance Optimization or equivalent.
  • Your preferred skills include strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable system and process solutions. Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise applications, databases, reporting platforms, and business systems is required. A preferred candidate could have hands-on experience with technical tools such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Microsoft Dynamics 365, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Excel, and API integration tools. Experience working with data lakes, ETL processes, relational databases, SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and system integrations is highly desirable.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree/Vocational Education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You're an excellent communicator, both written and verbal

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $70,000 to $110,000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Plymouth, MN.
