Executive Legal Secretary (Litigation)

Supports multiple attorneys in a busy Dallas firm, providing comprehensive administrative assistance. Key responsibilities include drafting legal documents such as briefs, complaints, and motions, and managing court filings in state and federal systems, including electronic filing. The role involves maintaining case information, preparing legal materials, organizing documents in the firm's management system, and coordinating meetings, conferences, and client interactions with a focus on confidentiality and customer service. The Secretary handles billing processes, travel arrangements, and assists with attorney memberships and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) coordination. Supporting new attorney admissions to courts and conducting research are also part of the role. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of litigation experience, preferably in a mid- to large-sized law firm, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management (NetDocs), billing (Carpe Diem), and e-filing systems. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, ability to work independently, and flexibility to work overtime are essential. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
