WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven Event Manager to support the delivery of high-impact programs, managing key components of medium to large-scale events and occasionally leading smaller programs end-to-end. You must be collaborative, dependable, able to manage multiple priorities, maintain a high-quality output under pressure, with a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 3 - 5 years of event management experience preferably within the event industry

  • Managed multiple workstreams or programs from small to medium scale (at minimum a 500 – 3,000+ attendees).

    • Please specify events worked on and role in the resume.

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year institution preferred

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage assigned components of events and experiential programs, ensuring successful execution aligned with client objectives, timelines, and agency standards.

  • Lead day-to-day planning and coordination, demonstrating strong project management, organization, and attention to detail across multiple concurrent projects/workstreams.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams, delivering a high level of service and professionalism.

  • Serve as a trusted partner on assigned workstreams by providing thoughtful recommendations and applying sound judgment throughout the planning process.

  • Proactively identify risks and challenges, applying creative problem-solving to develop effective solutions and maintain program momentum.

  • Manage high volumes of work while consistently delivering high-quality outputs in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

  • Facilitate regular communication with project teams, including status updates, progress tracking, and alignment on priorities, challenges, and next steps.

  • Support budget management within assigned scope by tracking expenses, securing approvals, and partnering with finance to maintain accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Assist in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and management to ensure deliverables meet quality expectations and align with budget goals.

  • Maintain clear, timely communication with Project Lead and stakeholders, escalating risks or issues as needed.

  • Understand and apply agency processes, tools, and best practices to ensure consistent and efficient program delivery.

  • Effectively prioritize and manage workload across multiple projects, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and agency initiatives, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

  • Participate in domestic and international travel to support event execution on-site, including both assigned programs and additional events in an on-site support capacity as needed.
