Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?Vishay Spectrol is currently seeking applicants for an Assembler. Responsible for assembly work requiring assembly skills and technical knowledge of operations involving bench top equipment and microscope assembly processes for the manufacturing of potentiometers on the assembly line assigned. Operations are those which include multiple task micro assembly. Should be able to perform multiple operations daily and will also test units to verify product is built to specifications.

Job Location:

The ideal candidate will be working on-site in the sunshine state of California, USA in the city of Ontario. Ontario is named "The Next Urban Center" and is just one hour away from the Greater Los Angeles Area of great beaches, entertainment and a melting pot of diverse people and culture.

What you will be doing:

  • Perform assembly and test of wirewound potentiometers to drawings and specifications.
  • May move from process to process as necessary.
  • May assist Lead in issuance of material, breakdown of kits, training or other miscellaneous duties.
  • May be assigned to other duties in other departments or areas as needed.
  • May be asked to perform other tasks as assigned by Lead and Manager.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Be able to work under a microscope
  • Demonstrate good written and communication skills
  • Be able to perform the basic process operations in the manufacturing of potentiometers in the assigned work centers while meeting labor standards
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications
  • Utilize inspection gauges, tools and electronic test equipment
  • Demonstrate knowledge, aptitude and manual coordination

Pay Rate: $18 - 20/hr depending on experience, Temp. Position
