Job Title: Medical Assembler

$23/HR- $25/HR

ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Job Description

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling devices with printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA's) and electronic components. You will also support the Research and Development area by assembling catheters under a microscope, completing sub-assemblies, and using small hand tools. Additionally, you will document processes, conduct visual inspections, and participate in the final packaging of catheters. Your tasks will include short-run builds, braiding, reflow, bonding, annealing, and liner stretching, with some soldering involved.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to assemble parts.
  • Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins.
  • Assemble small parts manually under a microscope.
  • Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes.
  • Package assembled parts.
  • Pick up, move, and sort small parts.
  • Verify raw materials and lot numbers.
  • Build products by following all processes and complete assigned work while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics.
  • Rotate as necessary and work well with all group members, both within the team and cross-functionally.
  • Maintain accurate records, including training records and required paperwork.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety and quality processes and procedures.
  • Communicate the status of operations in a timely manner to management, including any safety and/or process problems.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Essential Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience building catheters.
  • Experience in manufacturing, performing visual inspections, and operating necessary assembly equipment.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Willingness to work under a microscope throughout the day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with medical devices, catheter assembly, and clean room environments.
  • Familiarity with braiding, guide wires, and microscope assembly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
