First shift - 8am - 4:30pm CST
Pay Rate: $23.50 - $25.00/hr.

Job Summary
The Production Technician supports the assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical drone sensor systems, including cameras, gimbals, and electronic assemblies. This role works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production, documentation, quality initiatives, and timely delivery of customer orders.
Responsibilities
  • Perform cable assembly, soldering, box build integration, and electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and system checkout.
  • Program circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and document test results.
  • Support production scheduling and material availability.
  • Manage engineering documentation, design changes, and manufacturing updates.
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering, production, and contract manufacturers.
  • Support quality assurance processes and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Perform optical alignment, system validation, and flight-testing activities.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, defect-free products.

Years of Experience and Education
  • Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical field preferred.
  • Candidates without a degree must have at least 2 years of relevant assembly, production, or electronics experience.
  • Experience with cable making, soldering, box builds, or electromechanical assembly preferred.
  • Part 107 Certification required within three months of employment.

Skills Required
  • Electromechanical assembly and production experience.
  • Cable fabrication, soldering, and box build experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Experience with testing, diagnostics, and repair.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
