The Team:ย 
This role is a part of many different teams within our production department.ย  The General Assembler will interact with multiple people from various departments.ย 

The Role:ย 
Being a General Assembler means you will work inย various types of jobs on the production floor. This position may work in the same position for the entire shift, and other times may be working in multiple positions throughout the shift. This position is a combination of sitting and standing.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

ย You will spend your time:

  • Maintain clean and orderly workstations and equipment
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Complete tasks as designated by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
  • Perform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic tools
  • Sitting and standing throughout the night
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • May rotate to various workstations as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials (0-10 lbs.) up to 50% of time worked
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-30 pounds, chest height up to 5% of time worked.
