Job description

Dynamic Sealing Technologies (DSTI) of Andover, MN is looking to hire a full-time Assembler. Build precision products, no assembly line work!ย Join DSTI and work hands on assembling and testing custom mechanical products used in Aerospace, medical, energy, and more. This is a varied, non-repetitive role where you'll build one off or small batch products and work closely with Engineering.ย 

SIGN ON BONUS ADDED! $1,500!

What you'll do:

  • Assemble precision mechanical components using drawings and blueprints
  • Test products using hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Use tools like torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers
  • Use our computerized ERP system (Epicor) to find and record data.ย 
  • Collaborate with Engineering to solve problems and improve builds
  • Help Maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or GED (must also be age 18+)
  • Hands on mechanical experience. Strong mechanical experience through hobbies may also be considered.
  • Ability to read basic mechanical drawings, and blueprints.

Nice to Have: Manufacturing or Assembly experience; Experience with Pressure testing or similar.ย 

We also provide training and internal certification on high-risk equipment such as forklifts. Must be willing to obtain and maintain these certifications.

This Mechanical Assembly position pays a competitive hourly wage based on experience. This is a direct hire opportunity. In fact, we do not have any contract or temporary employees in our facility. Flexible Work Schedule

This is a full-time position on first shift. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm with some flexibility. Due to the hands-on nature of this role, remote work is not an option.
