Harmony Haven LLC is seeking compassionate, motivated, and recovery-focused Mental Health Rehabilitation Technicians/Community (MHRT-C) to join our growing behavioral health team. Our MHRT-Cs work alongside clinicians, case managers, and residential staff to provide community-based rehabilitation services that empower individuals living with mental health and substance use disorders to achieve lasting recovery and greater independence.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Provide community-based rehabilitation and recovery support services.
  • Assist individuals in developing independent living, social, vocational, and coping skills.
  • Support residents in achieving goals identified in individualized treatment and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate care with clinicians, medical providers, probation officers, family members, and community agencies.
  • Assist individuals with accessing medical, behavioral health, housing, employment, educational, and community resources.
  • Teach daily living skills including budgeting, medication management, transportation planning, meal preparation, and self-care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
  • Complete timely, accurate, and professional documentation in accordance with MaineCare and agency requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
  • Transport clients using agency vehicles when appropriate and assist in helping residents book transportation appointments within 72 hours of desired appointment.

Qualifications:

  • Current MHRT-C Certification (Provisional or Full) or eligible to obtain certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED (additional education in behavioral health preferred).
  • Valid Maine Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass all required criminal background and registry checks.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
