Job description

Weโ€™re looking for a reliable and experienced Taquero to join our growing Mexican food truck team. If you have experience preparing authentic Mexican food and thrive in a fast-paced environment, weโ€™d love to hear from you!

Position: Taquero / Line Cook
Schedule: 4 days per week
Hours: Approximately 24โ€“30 hours weekly to start
Growth Opportunity: Hours will increase to 40+ per week once our brick-and-mortar location opens.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook tacos, meats, and other Mexican food items
  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Set up and break down food truck cooking stations
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with prep work, inventory, and cleaning
  • Work efficiently during busy events, catering jobs, and service periods

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a taquero, line cook, or Mexican food cook
  • Knowledge of traditional Mexican food preparation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
