Job Description

  • Loading material between machinery, baskets, racks, and pallets.
  • Operating various tools in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Cleaning tools, equipment and work area during downtime or when instructed
  • Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the job.
  • Wear and inspect the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed for the position.
  • Immediately reporting all safety concerns, near misses, property damage, and injuries to appropriate management personnel.
  • Working 40 hours per week and overtime as business needs dictate.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with safe work practices and safety procedures.
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
  • Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well in a team

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • One to Three Years of prior work experience in a labor or manufacturing setting preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening (including pulmonary and fit test).
  • Must be able to work in-shop, or outside in year-round weather.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects of 50 pounds or occasionally 75 pounds, while utilizing all proper lifting procedures and practices.
  • Regularly standing and walking throughout an 8-hour or 10-hour day.
  • Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment needed for the position.
