Description:

Dutchware Gear is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Production & Metal Shop Assistant to join our manufacturing team. This position offers variety, working across multiple production areas to support our outdoor gear manufacturing process.

Requirements:
  • Mark fabrics with patterns using chalk
  • Operate webbing cutter
  • Assemble metal shop products
  • Assist in metal shop operations, including:
    • Grinding
    • Cutting
    • Drilling
    • Milling
    • Polishing
  • Perform shop upkeep duties, including trash and cardboard removal
  • Fill down products with insulation
  • Serve as a “floater” to support different departments as needed

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with hand tools and basic machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work in different production areas
  • Team player with a positive, adaptable attitude
