Commercial Roofing Metal Shop Technician
Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC
Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC is currently hiring experienced Metal Shop Technicians for a hybrid role based in or near Collierville, TN. This position includes both shop fabrication work and field support as needed. We are seeking dependable, safety-minded individuals who are willing to travel and committed to high-quality workmanship.
Position Overview
The Metal Shop Technician will fabricate commercial roofing metal components in the shop, assist field crews with metal installation, and support job-site operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with metal fabrication equipment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and prepare commercial roofing metal materials in the shop
  • Operate metal fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, and cutting tools
  • Assist roofing crews in the field when needed
  • Install and repair metal roofing components, flashing, coping, trim, gutters, and related systems
  • Load and unload materials and maintain organized work areas
  • Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times
  • Travel to job sites as needed
Requirements
  • Experience in commercial roofing and/or sheet metal fabrication
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license preferred
