Job description

G&S Supply Company has been locally owned and operated in the Tri-County area since 1990. We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Metal Fabricator to assist with the maintenance and daily operations of our metal shop.


This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and works well in a fast-paced environment. On-the-job training will be provided.


Schedule

Monday through Friday
6:00 AM – approximately 4:00 PM


Applicants should have strong time management skills, a positive attitude, and a solid work ethic.


Pay: From $22.00 per hour


Responsibilities

  • Safely operate metal fabrication equipment including shears, brakes, and metal panel machines
  • Fabricate metal roofing panels and related materials
  • Maintain organization and inventory levels within the metal shop
  • Complete daily checklists and equipment maintenance logs
  • Assist with coordination of projects alongside field supervisors
  • Take and process fill-in material orders for delivery
  • Learn and operate all machinery associated with the metal department
  • Maintain profile books with updated information
  • Keep the work environment clean, organized, and safe
  • Work independently and collaboratively on special projects as needed
  • Assist with daily operational tasks and additional company needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of industry experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Positive, outgoing attitude
  • Valid South Carolina Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
