Corporate Associate Attorney – Mergers & Acquisitions

Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to join a premier law firm’s Corporate Practice Group. This role can be based in any of the firm’s U.S. offices, providing flexibility and access to a dynamic national platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle mergers & acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions for a diverse client base, including public and private companies, private equity funds, and financial institutions.
  • Lead due diligence teams, coordinate with specialists, and manage transaction processes.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review complex corporate and commercial agreements.
  • Advise clients on general corporate governance and compliance matters.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of corporate law experience, with a focus on M&A and general corporate matters.
  • Skills: Strong transactional drafting, negotiation, and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Education: Superior academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission: Must be licensed to practice law.
Compensation & Benefits:
