Transporter

Location: Mercy Hospital - A Member of Catholic Health

Join a mission-driven team at Mercy Hospital, a 375-bed not-for-profit hospital known for compassionate care that treats the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.

We're looking for a dedicated Transporter to help ensure safe, timely, and compassionate patient transport throughout our hospital.

Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently transport patients and medical supplies to and from the Radiology Department.
  • Assist technologists with transferring patients to and from imaging tables.
  • Properly manage and transport IV pumps and poles, oxygen tanks, and patient charts.
  • Ensure a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for patients during transport.
  • Perform general messenger services as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
