What You'll Be Doing
  • Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care and serving our patients to ensure safety, successful execution of exercise, and a positive outcome
  • Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily-living activities.
  • Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under direction of professional staff. Will be required to demonstrate correct activity form or function.
  • Observe the patient during various physical activities designed in the treatment plan, compiling progress on patients' response to treatment.
  • Effectively communicate patient progress and reactions to treatment to the therapist.
