On average, baristas in the United States earn between $11 and $15 per hour, not including tips, which can significantly increase overall earnings. Some coffee shops may also offer benefits or performance-based bonuses. It’s important to check local job listings or speak with employers for the most accurate and up-to-date rate information.

What are some common challenges baristas face during busy shifts, and how can they effectively manage them?

Baristas often encounter high-pressure situations during peak hours, such as handling multiple drink orders at once while maintaining quality and customer service.
