$60,000 - $80,000 / year + benefits 16 Handles, one of the most iconic frozen yogurt and soft serve brands, is in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn! At 16 Handles, our mission is to create moments of happiness by sharing the world's best-tasting desserts, centered around quality, self-expression, and fun. Our menu features frozen yogurt, ice cream, vegan soft serve, over 50+ toppings, specialty drinks, and more. With an exciting range of flavors and toppings, exceptional service, and inviting store design, we strive to exceed expectations at every turn.

We are currently looking for an energetic, experienced, and customer-focused management professional to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have management experience in a fast-food restaurant, coffee house, or dessert shop. The Area Manager / Senior General Manager will work very closely with the owners to oversee the Cobble Hill store, as well as perform functions across several stores.

Responsibilities Include:

Oversee the daily operations of a highly successful, fast-paced, quick service restaurant Deliver legendary guest service to all guests by acting with a "guest comes first" attitude Manage staff and delegate responsibilities as needed Assist with hiring and manage team schedules Train and develop new and existing team members Support corporate directives and partnerships and disseminate information to team members Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and food safety and quality standards Handle purchasing and inventory management Complete daily cash reconciliations, safe counts, and bank deposits Maintain a positive atmosphere and lead by example Use financial metrics to optimize store performance Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in a food / hospitality business Associate degree or bachelor's degree Outgoing, high energy, and friendly personality Ability to manage a fast-paced, high volume, and customer-focused workplace Experience in leading a team of employees Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize Creative thinker who can create and seize new business opportunities Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and team members Positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service Knowledge of purchasing and inventory management Food safe certified/food handler's license
