Job description


Infosys Consulting is currently seeking a Partner in North America with deep experience in large-scale SAP transformations within the Life Sciences industry to join our growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Practice Development
  • Develop and grow Infosys Consulting's SAP consulting capability for the firm
  • Develop and successfully take to market SAP offerings that are tailored to the Life Sciences industry (2-3 "big bets" in first year)
  • Build out team, IP and tool set to deliver offerings
  • Work with Consulting industry heads to develop and implement go-to-market plans for the Life Sciences industry sector.
  • Work with ERP leaders and influencers in other regions to develop the firm's global SAP service catalog and capabilities.
Sales
  • Create/identify opportunities within existing and new clients using a blend of relationship-building, visionary industry knowledge, intellectual capital, and a command of Infosys services offerings in order to create engagement opportunities
  • Along with a team of consulting leaders, drive sales pursuits and manage contract negotiations for successful opportunities
  • Meet operational requirements for pipeline and sales tracking and reporting
Delivery
  • Oversee delivery of large-scale SAP transformation engagements
  • Maintain active delivery responsibilities supporting 30% personal utilization
  • Advise clients on ERP (SAP) trends, best practices, and the application of legacy and emerging technologies.
People Leadership
  • Contribute to resource management through headcount planning, skill need identification and sourcing strategy design.
  • Actively recruit to develop the team, influencing a favorable perception of Infosys as an employer.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to your people tree.
  • Build high morale and a highly effective team; position programs for success.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 20+ years of leadership experience, with strong consulting sales/relationship management/account management experience and deep experience working with Life Sciences clients.
  • 10+ years of end-to-end SAP implementation experience with Life Sciences clients.
  • Successful track record at the Partner level leading SAP transformation programs for Life Sciences clients within other consulting firm(s). Ability to develop offerings, build teams, sell and deliver technology-driven transformation programs.
  • Good understanding of Life Sciences industry challenges and how SAP S/4 is currently positioned to help companies in these industries drive Digital capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent. Master's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in SAP consulting space.
  • Ability to travel up to 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations and international travel based on client needs.
  • Preference for applicants who reside in or around our USA hub locations (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, New York, Seattle and Palo Alto)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • M.B.A or equivalent advanced degree
  • 20+ years of leadership experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience with an industry or service offering focus.
  • Big 4 or equivalent firm experience in a Partner Capacity
  • Global Delivery Model experience
  • Prefer to have worked with large Life Sciences clients: similar to Novartis, Roche, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer, Merck, Organon, Zoetis, Alcon, Bausch & Lomb, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Smith & Nephew, Viatris, Sandoz, Takeda, McKesson, Johnson & Johnson, Lilly
Knowledge of and experience in:
  • Traditional and emerging SAP solutions and packages; must know S/4HANA
  • ERP (SAP) redesign/continuous improvement/automation
  • SAP integration and/or carve-out activities for MA&D work
  • Track record of thought leadership in SAP and Life Sciences space, as expressed through publications, speaking engagements, conference presentations, etc.
  • Strong network in SAP and Life Sciences space which can be leveraged to recruit additional talent.
  • Excellent client relationships at executive level, that can be leveraged to develop new business.
  • Demonstrable experience expanding services and revenue within a client.
