Job description

Our Merchandising team is seeking a talented, versatile Associate Merchant to join our team. This position will maintain data integrity, support product strategies, and stay informed about market trends as well as close collaboration with cross-functional teams like Marketing, Sales, and Product Development.

In This Role

  • Take ownership of the accuracy and reliability of merchandising data and reporting tools Support Senior Merchants in developing assortment line plans and executing product strategies across assigned categories
  • Regularly audit merchandising data, product information, pricing, and reporting outputs to maintain data integrity across systems and processes
  • Analyze historical sales performance, business trends, inventory performance, and market dynamics to identify growth, expansion, and optimization opportunities
  • Translate data findings into actionable insights and clear recommendations that support assortment, pricing, inventory, and product strategy decisions
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of marketplace trends through competitive shopping, retail research, online analysis, trend sources, and consumer insights
  • Translate market and competitive trends into brand-specific opportunities that support sales, profitability, and overall category growth
  • Support pricing analysis and gross margin goals through competitive pricing research, market analysis, and profitability review
  • Monitor sales performance and partner with Merchandising leadership to adjust strategies as needed to achieve category targets
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners, including Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Planning, to align merchandising initiatives with broader business objectives

The Ideal Person
