Job description

Lexington Sporting Club is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail & Merchandise Intern to support the club's merchandise operations and fan experience initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in sports retail, merchandising, inventory support, customer engagement, and matchday retail operations within a professional sports environment.
Working closely with the club's retail and operations team, the intern will assist with team store support, merchandise organization, customer service, inventory tasks, and special retail events throughout the season.
Internship Term: Academic Year (August 2026 - May 2027)
What You'll Do
  • Welcome customers and help create a positive team store experience
  • Assist fans with merchandise selections, sizing, and product recommendations
  • Answer questions regarding merchandise, promotions, and club offerings
  • Support sales transactions, including cash and credit card processing
  • Assist with upselling and promotional initiatives to support merchandise sales
  • Maintain awareness of current products, inventory, and best-selling items
  • Help organize displays and maintain brand presentation standards
  • Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking merchandise
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing team store
  • Support inventory counts and product organization
  • Assist with preparing merchandise for matches, events, and promotions
