FIGS is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support the Ecommerce, merchandising, and planning teams. The ideal candidate possesses both a passion for retail apparel and the ability to perform complex analyses. This position partners cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, Ecomm, data engineering, design, production, marketing, creative, and CX in order to deliver well-rounded insights that help to create a product assortment that best serves healthcare professionals..ย 

What you'll do:

  • Reports to the Manager of US Ecommerce Analytics to support all data analysis in order to drive both product performance and sell-through
  • Support the US Ecommerce business by partnering cross-functionally to understand strategic site features from a product perspective
  • Support the merchandising strategy through detailed data and selling analyses that provide clear direction for future product assortments
  • Partner with planning to create scalable tools and datasets for analyzing category performance
  • Perform analyses and deliver both insights and visualizations needed for weekly, monthly and quarterly business milestone and hindsight meetings
  • Visualize and communicate effective selling analyses to an executive level audience.
  • Help with seasonal merchandise plans and roadmaps by monitoring sales, market trends, and competitive research
  • Make recommendations for in-season strategy changes as needed and communicate to cross functional team on a timely basis

Essential Criteria:

  • 3-5 years' experience in an analytics role (ideally focused on retail apparel product)
  • Bachelor's degree (ideally in a quantitative discipline)
  • Proficient in SQL (Snowflake, Databricks, Big Query, etc.)
  • 2+ years experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Omni, Tableau, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative mindset for manipulating/analyzing data, with a knack for showing visually through charts/graphs/etc.
  • Strong communication both verbally and written
  • Able to manage multiple priorities across stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (sumifs, index, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.)
  • Desire to continually keep up with advancements in data and AI innovation and best practices

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with R or Python
  • Experience with Claude or ChatGPT Enterprise
  • Experience with Snowflake Cortex

Pay Range

  • At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $100,000 and $120,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.ย
