They ensure that MEP systems are designed, installed, and integrated according to project specifications, codes, and timelines. Their role involves coordinating between various trades, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve conflicts, streamline workflows, and ensure that all MEP installations are completed efficiently and safely. MEP Coordinators also review drawings, conduct site inspections, and participate in project meetings to address any technical or scheduling issues.

A MEP Coordinator works closely with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are integrated smoothly into the overall building design. This role often involves attending coordination meetings, reviewing design plans, resolving conflicts between different disciplines, and communicating updates to both on-site teams and external consultants. Effective collaboration helps prevent costly rework and keeps the project on schedule, making strong communication skills essential for success in this position.
