COOK IEssential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and serve food items according to standard recipes and guest specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
  • Portion and serve food onto appropriate receptacles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Inspect tools and equipment before and after use to ensure proper working condition.
  • Assist in menu development and implementation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining adequate supplies.
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store food and kitchen supplies.
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures are followed in compliance with health regulations.
  • Maintain portion control and product quality, especially for meat and perishable items.
  • Ensure kitchen readiness for upcoming meal services.
  • Perform general cleaning and assigned side work using approved cleaning products.
  • Supervise or assist team members with basic prep tasks such as slicing, weighing, and food preparation.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding performance, goals, and operational improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.



Physical Requirements
