Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.

  • Weigh, measure, mix, and prep ingredients accurately.

  • Utilize various cooking techniques, including steaming, grilling, boiling, baking, and frying for meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.

  • Check food and ingredients for freshness and quality.

  • Arrange and garnish dishes beautifully for presentation.

  • Work efficiently under pressure and meet time constraints.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils.

  • Assist in leading and inspiring kitchen staff alongside the Executive Chef and Kitchen Supervisor.

  • Contribute to special events and banquets as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Supervisor, including prepping, cooking, and stocking.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of cooking experience in the hospitality industry preferred.

  • Prior experience in food and beverage service and food preparation roles.

  • Proficient in hot and cold food preparation techniques.

  • Strong understanding of sanitation standards and health codes.

  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, grills, deep fryers etc.

  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Must possess food safety certification or be able to obtain it upon employment.
