The Reminiscence Coordinator leads the memory care neighborhood, ensuring residents living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia receive compassionate, individualized care and meaningful engagement. This role champions Sunrise's Resident-Centered Care model while supporting families and developing a strong, well-trained team.
What You'll Do:
• Lead daily operations of the reminiscence neighborhood in compliance with regulations and Sunrise standards
• Champion the designated care manager model and Life Skills programming
• Develop and facilitate dementia-appropriate activities that create purposeful, pleasant days
• Partner with clinical leadership to ensure ISPs, safety, hydration and care needs are met
• Support families through meetings, education and monthly support groups
• Monitor quality indicators including weight management, behaviors and medication oversight
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training and performance management
• Oversee department budget and financial performance
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management standards
