• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to gauge the needs of children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into consideration the patient’s developmental stage and family dynamics.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy, to resolve issues like anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in creating supportive home environments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including child psychiatrists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each patient.
• Offer crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, employing immediate support strategies for affected minors.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, associated treatment options, and available community resources.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation as per legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient privacy at all times.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development workshops, remaining abreast of the latest industry practices and research.

This role centers on supporting children and adolescents dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Our goal is to provide a safe space where young patients can express their feelings and experiences while receiving the guidance they need to overcome their challenges.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• A strong foundation of knowledge regarding child and adolescent mental health disorders and corresponding evidence-based treatment modalities.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a focus on working with children and families.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and family therapy specific to the needs of young patients.
• Familiarity with developmental psychology and therapeutic techniques suitable for various age groups.
