Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions through approved telehealth platforms, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and challenges, using this information to create effective and personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system to comply with legal and organizational protocols.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals and support staff to ensure a cohesive treatment approach and a streamlined care process for clients.
• Stay informed of best practices, advances in teletherapy, and ethical standards to provide innovative and compliant therapy services.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to continuously refine therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Rock Solid Counseling, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more. Our clients come from varying backgrounds, and we appreciate therapists who can effectively engage with individuals from different cultural contexts. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients navigate their challenges and cultivate resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required to ensure comprehensive understanding and application of therapeutic practices.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of experience in providing therapy, specifically via telehealth or remote settings, is required.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage client caseload efficiently in a remote work environment.
• Comfort with telehealth technology and electronic health records, ensuring a proficient delivery of services.

Preferred Experience

Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with culturally responsive therapy and sensitivity to social determinants of health will enhance your ability to serve our diverse clientele effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to USD 130,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being.
