Compass Mental Health Center is seeking passionate and skilled Mental Health Therapists to join our dedicated team in providing compassionate care to individuals facing mental health challenges. This full-time position involves supporting a diverse patient population through tailored therapeutic interventions from the comfort of your home, combining the flexibility of remote work with the fulfilling environment of a detox center.

Work Environment

As a remote team member at a detox center, you will work closely with a collaborative team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals. This role offers a structured work schedule, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gain insight into the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups for patients, fostering a shared community and promoting therapeutic goals.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care, ensuring all aspects of mental health are addressed.
• Provide crisis interventions and immediate support during mental health emergencies with a focus on de-escalation and safety.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and local resources available to aid in recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records, adhering to legal and ethical standards as required by the profession.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment to provide the highest quality of care to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals undergoing detox and treatment for co-occurring disorders, including those battling addiction and related mental health issues. This position requires a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding substance abuse disorders and the unique psychological support required during the recovery process. Your work will play a crucial role in helping these patients navigate their challenges and achieve stability.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within California.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities.
• A strong background in conducting therapeutic assessments and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to patient interaction.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in detox or substance abuse settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Experience in leading group therapy sessions or psychoeducational workshops.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
