Job description

We are looking for an lien negotiator and/or lien negotiator manager and director to join our growing team.
We are a firm focused on culture and growth, both individually and as a team. We help those that have been injured and damaged against large insurance companies that do nothing but delay or prevent them for recovering for what was taken.
The right candidate will be judged on ability to follow instruction as well as experience and skill. This role is perfect for a candidate that desires to grow in a firm. There is plenty of room to grow and our firm is focused on investing in the growth of all candidates.
Position Responsibilities
  • Assemble, organize, and itemize client medical bills.
  • Negotiate Medpay reimbursement claims/waivers as well as sub-out attorney liens
  • Draft Lien Reduction acceptance letters
  • Identify liens from: emergency medical treatment
  • Open (if necessary) healthcare claims and obtain final liens from statutory lien providers
  • Correspond with clients and creditors over the phone and through email
  • Preform other office tasks as assigned by management
  • Proactively pursue settlement strategies
  • Resolve any issues that come up before/during the settlement
  • Formulate costs incurred on cases
  • Update clients on lien status process

Position Qualifications
  • Must be proficient in Outlook and Adobe.
  • Experience with Personal Injury software such as Casepeer is a plus.
  • Must be familiar with operation of general office equipment including calculator, fax machine, copy machine, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills required.
  • Prior PC experience required including knowledge of word processing software (Word and Excel preferred).
  • Must have at least two years personal injury experience
  • Must have at least two years lien negotiation experience
