Your main job is to diagnose and develop treatment options for your patients. You also train other speech therapists, and participate in workshops and conferences. Qualifications for this job include a mix of education, career experience, and skills. You should have a master’s degree in speech pathology or a closely related field. Previous work as a linguist and strong verbal and written communication skills are also important.
